Following the Great Commission to build a Growing Community of loving, God honoring Christians

Randall D. Smith - Senior Pastor

Dr. Randall Smith is a respected Bible teacher who has lived and worked in the places of the Bible for more than a quarter of his Life. Randy studied in Jerusalem & holds degrees in Near East Archaeology & a Doctorate in Comparative Religion from Conservative Theological Seminary. He has a thorough understanding of Biblical culture, history, geography & rabbinic teachings & is gifted in using that knowledge to focus on the practical aspects of our faith. He and his wife Dottie have three children and have lived in Sebring since 2002.

"Pastor Randy is the best teacher I have ever heard. In fact, I confess I am deeply in love with him!" --Dottie Smith - his wife!
"He's a good boy. You should go hear him teach!" --Charlotte Smith - his mom.
Dottie is an administrator for Global Vision Outreach, an international mission. She juggles office duties and cares for her children, but loves being a hostess and serving on the worship team at Grace. Pastor Randy and Dottie keep a changing blog of their family and travels, Bible lessons, and church notes at their personal blog:

David Ogden - Associate/ Counseling Pastor

Pastor Dave baptises, counsels, cares for children, visits and loves the flock! That's when he isn't driving the van or caring for the needs of one of our Kid City children's ministry families.

Pastor Dave and family came to Sebring from Okeechobee in 1988. They became active in the Sebring Grace Brethren Church - serving in children and youth ministries. Pastor Dave was appointed as an elder and served on two pastoral "search" committees, while also leading worship singing. In September, 1994, he was hired as Youth Pastor. He served as Pastor from January, 1996, through December, 2002. Following a term as pastor at Okeechobee Grace Brethren Church, Pastor Dave returned to Grace Chruch of Sebring in April, 2007. He served with his late wife, Pam until her graduation to glory. Remaining a widower for five years the Lord finally brought into his life a wonderful woman (also widowed) and he remarried in a Brady Bunch (times four) scenario. With his new wife Chris they have the largest family in Highlands County, and are still settling in to the new blended family.
"Pastor Dave is a blessing to me. I have never known a man so invested emotionally in people. He truly does love them, and is an example to me!" says Pastor Randy. "I love him too!" says his new wife, Chris.
Pastor Dave is an associate pastor involved in family ministries and biblical counseling. He has a Master of Arts degree from Grace Theological Seminary (Winona Lake, IN) and has extensive experience in Christian schools - as a teacher and administrator.

Matthew Wheelock - Assistant to the Pastor

Matt is the "man behind the programs" at Grace. He administrates most of the ministry operations, and watches over the quality of what we are doing. He and his wife Kris make an excellent team and bring such heart and drive to the ministry!

Matt is a treasure to us at Grace. He is the all around "program guy"! He takes care of a myriad of details, together with his wife Kris, who helps with children's ministry, and with publishing layouts. Matt is a home grown Highlands County guy, with a caring heart and a very capable management style. He came to Grace a few years ago, and has won the hearts of all who serve with him!

"Matt is a real find. I don't know where you got a guy this good, Pastor, but I am so impressed with him!" - Grace Elder, Ken Hannum

Aaron Michaud - Director of Student Ministries

Despite the goofy look, Aaron is a vital part of the work at Grace. He recently married Sarah, and is adjusting to life as a married guy! In addition, he will be teaching at Heartland Christian School this year. Aaron Michaud has been working with youth in Highlands county through Sebring Grace and Youth for Christ for the past four years.  He hold a degree in Religious Studies from Liberty University.  He is also actively involved in teaching and discipling at Great Commission Bible Institute (www.gcbi.net). His love for the Word and his constant desire to encourage is contagious. After all, looks aren't everything! (Just kidding..)
