Dear Friends,
“The 2010 Youth Discipleship Camp (August 22-28) was the best ever” were the words of Chhay Chhoeum, director of the camp and of the Cambodian Ministry Partner team. The main reason cited by all of the CMPs for this evaluation was the participation of the Cambodian youth, particularly the youth committee (top left). They played a major role in leading the activities and even did some of the teaching.
We give heartfelt thanks as well to the 15-member GO Team (top right) who served by teaching English and first aid, praying and doing dishes for 105 people three times a day. They were GREAT!
The presence of a number of new believers and interested seekers at this year’s camp gave us all increased motivation to bear testimony to the church as “one family.” The CMP wives and BB church ladies prepared the food, giving the camp a real family atmosphere.
