Registration is now open for our Summer program that will start June 7 th and go through August 20, 2010. This is offered to kids ages K5 through 5 th grade. It will be a summer filled with fun and games. Mondays will be a field trip day, Tuesdays we will go to the High School pool, Wednesdays will be a day to bring in their bikes or boards and their helmet, Thursday will be water day, and Friday will be a movie day. Attention Parents!!! The second Friday of every month from 6 -9 pm is an opportunity for you to have a night out. We would love watch your children ages infant to 5 th grade to give you a little down time. They will have a night of fun, games, movies and dinner. This is an after school program for kids in kindergarden through 5th grade. We offer snack when they arrive, devotion time, help with homework, and play time. If you are interested in this program and have any questions you may contact MarySue Martin @ 381-9669
Kid City will be having a Christmas program Wednesday, December 16 from 7 to 8 PM. Cookies and punch to follow.
We also need “cookie cookers” to bake for after the program. If you have a specialty that you would like to contribute contact Avis Hunt or sign up in the foyer.
KCU needs your old Christmas card. We are making cards for the residents of the Palms. We are making the cards on December 21. Call Mary Sue at (863) 381-9669.
Date Night will be happening Friday November 13 from 6-9 PM. The service is absolutely free. Any donations are directed toward developing the children’s playground.
Kid City University is in its second year, thanks to all of our wonderful volunteers that help our with homework. We can always use more help and volunteers are appreciated on weekdays at 3:30-4:30 PM. Contact Mary Sue Martin if you are interested.
